ARCHIVAL & RESTORATION WORK
Alongside original production, Michael works extensively with historical and previously unreleased material.
His projects have included the co-production of chart-topping releases of newly uncovered recordings by Vivian Stanshall, helping bring significant archival material to modern audiences with care and fidelity.

He is currently involved in the development of a major archival box set project scheduled for release in 2027, combining restoration, curation and production oversight.
This work requires not only technical precision but sensitivity to the historical and artistic context of the material - preserving the spirit of the original recordings while preparing them for contemporary listening.
PRODUCTION APPROACH
Michael’s work is guided by three core principles:
Performance first — recordings should feel alive, present and human.
Clarity of storytelling — spoken word and musical detail must serve narrative meaning.
Respect for legacy — archival material is handled with historical awareness and care.
Whether working with new performances or historic recordings, the aim is always the same: to capture the voice, personality and intent at the heart of the work.
