Music Composer & Producer

Original music, scoring and sound design for broadcast, podcast and live performance.

 

Michael Livesley is a composer, songwriter and producer working across broadcast, podcast and commercial media.

His work includes recording the album version of his acclaimed stage production Vivian Stanshall’s Sir Henry at Rawlinson End with collaborators including Rick Wakeman, Neil Innes and Susie Honeyman, as well as writing and producing the album Parrotopia with Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band member Rodney Slater and performing as lead vocalist with the band on their anniversary tour.

Michael composes original music and sound design for productions including Sophie Aldred’s Ace Odyssey and created the theme and incidental music for the late Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club podcast featuring Stephen Fry. He also co-produced chart-topping releases of newly uncovered Vivian Stanshall material and is currently developing a major archival box set for release in 2027.
